The past season can be looked back upon with satisfaction
as one of the real progress and the all-round keenness of the troops
has made the task of administration a pleasure.
STRENGTH. The Company strength as at 31.3.35 stands at 4
Officers and 69 other ranks of whom 3 Officers and 52 other ranks
are at the present available for duty, a slight advance on last
year.
ATTENDANCE. on parade has been very satisfactory even during
the "off season" last summer.
SCHEDULE OF TRAINING. With a large Company in varying stages
of efficiency, it is somewhat difficult to maintain the interest of
all, but the Company Programme has been varied as much as possible
commensurate with our actual requirement.
At the commencement of the Training Season all ranks revised
Mechanism, E.G.D., I.A., and the formulation of"SCHEDULE B" within
the Machine Gun Battalion has proved a very useful method of
ascertaining individual shortcomings. We propose to consider
individual efficiency on the results of Tosts rather than the number
of parades attended.
After Camp lectures on Gas, "Battle", M.G. in Defence, Map
